Wireless Communications Labatory

Introduction

Wireless Communications Laboratory (WCL) is led by Professor Wan Choi. We research information theory and communication theory for the advance of wireless communications. Our research emphasis is on the following areas:

Multiple antennae (MIMO) communications
Cooperative communications
Relay communications
Cognitive radio communications
Interference management in wireless mobile networks
Multiple access techniques including OFDMA

1. Professor Choi has been appointed as an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications since Dec. 2008.

2. Two new MS students Dae Kyu Shin and Eun Young Ahn joined WCL in spring 2009.
